Reno Omokri Defends 122 Million Refund Members of the PDP NWC

The millions of Naira that PDP National Working Committee (NWC) members purportedly returned for bribes were for housing allowance, according to sociopolitical activist Reno Omokri.

Several PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu-led NWC members reportedly returned money paid to their bank accounts totaling more than N122 million, according to a BEEHIVEGOSSIPS investigation.

The National Vice Chairman (South-West), Olasoji Adagunodo, the National Women Leader, Prof. Stella Affah-Attoe, the Deputy National Chairman (South), Taofeek Arapaja, and the National Vice Chairman (South), Chief Dan Orbih, were among the NWC members who returned the funds.

The revelation came a few days after Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, leveled accusations against the party’s Chairman Ayu.

In a Port Harcourt media interview, Wike said that Ayu had received N1 billion from an unnamed presidential candidate.

Reno, a PDP member and ardent supporter of the party’s presidential nominee Atiku Abubakar, asserted that there was nothing improper about money being thought to have been sent to the NWC members.

The housing stipend is listed among the privileges that come with your letter of appointment, the author stated.

Does it make sense for the People’s Democratic Party to encourage individuals to relocate from their homes in various parts of the nation in order to work for the party but then refuse to provide housing subsidies?

Former media advisor to former president Goodluck Jonathan claimed that Bola Tinubu’s campaign intentionally spread false information about his health in order to draw attention away from Tinubu’s purported condition.

“The Nation published a false report regarding the payments made to PDP NWC members. This was planned to draw attention away from Tinubu’s catheter photo, which his aides accidentally released today,” he continued.
