Former Liverpool defender, Jose Enrique has urged his old club to sign Raphinha from Leeds United following the departure of Sadio Mane.
Recall that Mane officially joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool last week.
Enrique believes Liverpool don’t need anyone else if they sign Raphinha this summer, adding that the 25-year-old would be a good signing for the Reds.
He replied to a tweet which suggested that Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp could make Raphinha a better player.
Enrique tweeted: “He will be our perfect signing for this season and we don’t need anyone else if we sign him.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool will have to battle Arsenal, who are interested in signing Raphinha.
Raphinha joined Leeds United from Ligue 1 side Rennes in the summer of 2020.
The Brazilian has gone on to become a key player for the West Yorkshire outfit, scoring 17 goals and providing 12 assists from 67 matches in all competitions.
