Alhassan Ibrahim, a midfielder from Nigeria, has joined the Pro League team KVA Beerschot.
Ibrahim signed a two-year contract and moved to Beerschot from CD Nacional in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.
“I do like to feel the ball, but I also press hard and follow my opponents very closely. So, I can definitely play with our coach’s game system,” he told the club’s official website.
“This is a good next step for me in my career. I played in Portugal in the past, both in the first and second divisions. I want to play with Beerschot at the highest level as soon as possible.
Ibrahim began his professional career with the local team Wikki Tourists. The next year, he moved to Akwa United.
The 25-year-old moved to Austria Vienna, a big team in Austria, in 2017, and then joined CD Nacional the next year.
He has worn the Nigerian team’s cap twice.
