The Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) University invites applications from undergraduate (Bachelor) and master’s degree students from all around the world for the 2023 Fully Funded Berlin International Summer Student Program in Germany.

Applications for the Berlin International Summer Student Program 2023 are now open.
This program is only available in Germany. Every year, Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin University welcomes students from all over the world to participate in an eight-week summer student program in Germany.
If you enjoy cross-cultural and short-term summer programs, this could be an excellent opportunity to participate in the summer of 2023. The organizers of the program will bear all expenses. This program also does not necessitate the completion of an IELTS or TOEFL exam.

Male and female applicants are welcome to apply for the HZB International Summer Student Program 2023. The program is scheduled to run from July 3 to August 25, 2023.
Any student who has graduated or is currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Master’s Degree program is eligible.
There are no application fees.

Financial Advantages
Because of the financial benefits, this Summer Program is fully funded.
The chosen Participants are not required to pay anything.
The program will address the following topics:
An 8-week internship contract to work on a project.
A Subsistence Allowance of 1800€ gross for external participants and 1000€ gross for students at Berlin and Potsdam universities throughout the term of the contract.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to 500€ to assist you with the expenditures of traveling between Berlin and your location.

Criteria for Eligibility
Students from any country around the world are welcome to apply.
You are a college student (not a Ph.D. candidate).
You must have completed at least two years of full-time university studies in your major discipline.
You have a strong command of the English language.
You must provide a letter of recommendation by the end of the application period.
